Privacy Policy
Effective October 20, 2026
The short version: Doggy Longer has no accounts, no ads and no tracking across other apps or websites. We never sell data. The game sends us a few anonymous events so we can see whether the training works and what players want next — nothing that tells us who you are.
Your progress
Your records, bones, outfits and settings are stored on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, the game also keeps a small copy in your private iCloud storage (Apple’s iCloud key-value storage), so your progress follows you to a new iPhone. That copy belongs to your Apple Account: we can’t see or access it.
Anonymous usage events
We use PostHog (servers in the EU) to receive a small number of events that the game sends on purpose:
- Training: when the how-to-play training starts, each lesson you finish, and whether you finish or skip it — with how long it took and how many tries were missed.
- Shop wishes: when you tell us which new locations or breeds you’d like, we receive the options you picked and the text you typed. Please don’t put personal information in that text.
Along with an event, PostHog receives basic technical details: device model and type, iOS version, app version, language, time zone, screen size, and whether you’re on Wi-Fi or cellular. PostHog may use your IP address to estimate a rough location (country and city); we have set it not to store the IP address itself. Events are tied to a random identifier created by the app, not to your name, email, Apple Account or advertising identifier. We don’t record your screen, taps or sessions.
We use these events only to improve the game. PostHog processes them on our behalf and does not use them for its own purposes. Events are kept for up to one year and then deleted automatically.
Sharing your record
The “Brag” picture is drawn on your device. It leaves the device only when you choose where to send it in the iOS share sheet, and from then on the app you picked handles it under its own policy.
Children
The game is fun for all ages and doesn’t ask anyone for personal information. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us something personal in a shop wish, write to us and we’ll delete it.
Your choices
- Deleting the app removes your progress from the device.
- You can turn off iCloud for the game in Settings → your name → iCloud.
- Because events are anonymous, we usually can’t tell which ones are yours. If you want something removed, write to us and we’ll do our best to find and delete it.
Changes
If we change what the game collects, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
